MY APPROACH

Pivoting Perspectives

I utilize a strength-based, solution-focused approach with my clients. I view all clients as resilient, helping them discover inner strengths that were not previously known or available. I am collaborative and do not take a "one size fits all" stance when treating clients. I am optimistic, approachable, and compassionate, fostering trust and comfort as we tackle the presenting problem, together.

Presenting problems I treat: depression, anxiety, disordered eating, self-harm/suicidal ideation, self-esteem/self-confidence, relationship conflict, ADHD, codependency, sleep issues, dual diagnoses (MH and substance use/abuse) and stress management.

Interventions I use most often: CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Structural/Strategic Family Therapy, Bowenian Family Therapy, and ABFT (Attachment-Based Family Therapy).
